The Dubai Municipality has agreed an AED10m (£1.78m, US$2.72m, €2.08m) deal with an entertainment group to open a crocodile theme park - the first of its kind in the Middle East.
The project, set to be completed by 2015, will be developed by White Oryx Investment and will include a crocodile preservation park.
The 20,000sq m (215,000sq ft) attraction will see visitors take a tour through natural sceneries with hundreds of crocodiles in the waters surrounding them.
