Universal Studios Singapore has announced plans for a Puss In Boots-themed suspended roller coaster.

To be located in the Shrek-themed ‘Far Far Away’ zone, the new ride will take guests on a journey with Puss and his accomplice, Kitty Soft Paws, on the family-friendly coaster.

The new outdoor ride – Puss In Boots’ Giant Journey, will offer an original Puss in Boots storyline and is slated for completion by end 2014, with opening details to be unveiled at a later date.

In addition to the new ride, Universal Singapore is planning to debut a love show in September featuring Puss in Boots and Kitty Soft Paws. ‘The Dance for the Magic Beans’ will feature a "dance off" between the two Dreamworks Animation characters, followed by a meet-and-greet for kids.

The new attraction will expand Dreamworks’ presence in the park, with two areas in ‘Far Far Away’ and another dedicated to Madagascar currently in existence.
