DXB Entertainments names Almulla as new CEO following Al Nuaimi departure
POSTED 01 Jun 2017 . BY Tom Anstey
Almulla takes up the role at DXB after 9 years at AMG, having joined the firm in November 2008
DXB Entertainments, owner of Dubai Parks and Resorts, has named Arab Media Group (AMG) chief executive Mohamed Almulla as its new CEO.

Almulla replaces Raed Al Nuaimi, who has been appointed head of a new entity created to manage multi-billion dollar development projects for both Dubai Holding and Meraas Holding as well as other third parties. Meeras Holding is the majority shareholder of DXB Entertainments, owning 52.29 per cent of the company.

Almulla takes up the role at DXB after 9 years at AMG, having joined the firm in November 2008. While there he oversaw and managed the operation of all corporate and consumer products for the company, including its three major business units; Arabian Radio Network (ARN), Done Events and Global Village Dubailand.

Al Nuami and Almulla were both appointed by Abdulla Al Habbai, chair of both Dubai Holding and Meraas Holding.

“Mohamed Almulla has been instrumental in growing AMG and Dubai Holding’s contribution to the media and entertainment sector,” said Habbai.

“Under his leadership, Global Village has grown to become a major entertainment destination, attracting more than five million visitors each year. He also oversaw ARN’s strategy, growing to become the largest radio network in the UAE.

“We are confident that his new role will result in further growth of Dubai’s position as a global entertainment destination in the region.”
